The Region of Peel, a Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (BPSO®), has sustained the implementation of the Assessment and Management of Pain best practice guideline (BPG) for almost a decade. 

In this action cycle phase, strategies to support a practice change are selected and tailored to the local context and its identified barriers and facilitators.

In this action cycle phase, the implementation of the best practice is considered in the context of the setting and whether any modifications are needed to make the practice change.     

In this action cycle phase, a problem is identified, a know-do gap is completed and a knowledge tool is chosen.
