As one of the preconditions, this element focuses on recognizing the power of social movement action as a viable option for advancing positive change. 

An outcome of the Social Movement Action Framework' is scaling in which the change initiative is spread, widened or normalized. 

Change is a journey that can be summarized as three key time points: planning for change, making change happen and sustaining change. In this section, key learnings to support planning for change are highlighted.
