This webinar is designed for health-care providers who are looking at how to successfully implement practice changes by co-designing with clients and their families. The purpose of this webinar is to inspire health-care providers and organizations to carefully listen to and integrate the lived experiences of diverse clients and families when implementing best practice guidelines (BPG) into care. We will be presenting some strategies used in key quality initiatives that highlight mutually beneficial partnerships impacting client care.
This webinar will inspire, support and facilitate shared learnings for participants on principles surrounding client and family-centered care. It will also support participants’ learning on how to integrate principles of co-design into ethics, decision-making or hospital activities through the movement of story-informed care.
During this presentation, participants will learn how to:
- share processes, strategies and lessons learned
- gain a better understanding of how to integrate BPGs into practice alongside client and family co-design e.g. Care Transitions, Supporting and Strengthening Families Through Expected and Unexpected Life Events and Person- and Family-Centered Care
- apply principles learned within their own care settings
