Despite Canadian veteran populations’ increasing diversity, little is understood about the impact military service has on equity-deserving veterans’ (women, 2SLGBTQI+, Indigenous, Black and racialized veterans) health and well-being. Using intersectional and participatory research approaches to engage directly with veterans, this Veterans’ Well-being Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) event explores health and well-being strengths and their needs and aims to shed light on inequitable programs and/or services built on traditional cis-male norms.
