What is the Best Practice Champions Network®?
Established in 2002, this network is made up of thousands of nurses and other health-care providers who are passionate about evidence-based practice and improving care in their organization. Once an individual completes the Best Practice Champion training*, they are automatically registered in the Network.

Specialty Champions
Specialized Champion training introduces learners to the process of implementing evidence-based practices, along with strategies to assist with implementing changes in regard to specific clinical areas of practice. These include: Smoking Cessation, Mental Health and Addictions and Long-Term Care. All Champions, including specialized Champions, are part of the Best Practice Champions Network® and are welcome to access the Best Practice Champions Network® events and resources.
This program is funded by the Government of Ontario. All activities associated with the Best Practice Champions Network® are offered free of charge.
