Radio – Best in-depth feature or series: Imani Walker (2022)

Imani Walker is a Toronto-based journalist with CBC Radio and CBC News. From cultural stories to politics, sports and health reporting, Imani's coverage focuses on Black, Indigenous and other racialized communities. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s (formerly Ryerson University) journalism program, Imani has led Black History Month coverage for CBC Radio's Metro Morning and produced breaking news for CBC News Network. Working as an associate producer, she's produced and reported in the field, sharing underrepresented stories from across the GTA.
