Susanne Reber is a three-time Peabody award-winning global media executive and coach. She’s an executive producer of investigative podcasts and serials, including at Piz Gloria Productions which she founded. Susanne is the creator of Verified, Investigative podcast series and co-founder of Reveal, the first investigative radio program and podcast in the US. Her programming has reached millions of listeners and viewers. She’s a frequent international speaker, trainer and consultant on investigative storytelling, serialized podcasts, multilingual production and audio-visual innovation. She speaks English, German, and French. Susanne works remotely and splits her time between Europe, Canada and the U.S.

Laurie Few is a journalist with 35 years of experience producing news and current affairs, digital content and investigative journalism. Laurie is currently the digital executive producer at TVO. Prior to joining TVO, Laurie was the managing editor at Canada’s National Observer and before that she held the title of director of digital and creative content at CPAC, Canada’s Cable Public Affairs Channel focusing on federal political news. Laurie is the vice-chair of the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) board. Laurie has taught various courses in investigative journalism. She was a lawyer prior to becoming a journalist.

Masih Khalatbari is a reporter for the Investigative Journalism Bureau in Toronto. He is committed to uncovering systemic issues and amplifying underreported stories, with a special interest in environmental health threats, drug safety and public policy. His reporting has exposed exploitative practices in Canada’s clinical trial industry, including the risks faced by vulnerable participants and the ethical lapses of for-profit research companies. His investigations have been featured in long-form print, podcasting and documentary film across outlets including the Toronto Star, TVO, CBC and Canada’s National Observer.

Shaghayegh Tajvidi is an audio-visual producer with 15 years of media production experience across genres and formats. At TVO, she has worked as both managing editor and senior showrunner, leading a variety of podcasts and digital video series in current affairs and the arts. She worked across Canada and the U.S. for several years, covering race relations, elections, immigration, and climate mobilization as key beats. Painting with gouache remains her favourite non-digital activity.

Max Loslo is a current global affairs master’s student at the American University of Beirut and former investigative reporter with the Investigative Journalism Bureau. His work has contributed to print and podcast media appearing in the Toronto Star and TVO.
