Multicultural – Best in-depth feature or series: Luis Ibarra (2023)

Luis Ibarra was born in Mexico and immigrated to Canada in 2012. In Mexico, he was the director and journalist of five monthly magazines. After three months living in Canada and as a newcomer, he started working for Latinos Magazine, the only bilingual publication in English and Spanish for the Latin community. Now Latinos Magazine turns 10 years old in 2023 and Luis has interviewed ministers, consulates, ambassadors and international artists. He enjoys kayaking, spending time in nature and learning about mental health.
