How To Use Train-the-Trainer Model to Implement Best Practice Guidelines
The Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team (SL-OHT) will be presenting on using a Train-the-Trainer approach to implement best practice guidelines (BPG) across partner organizations. This session is designed for health professionals and leaders looking to enhance care quality, build internal capacity and support professional growth across organizations.
Participants will learn how local champions are being equipped to lead BPG adoption through co-created, virtual training modules and shared resources. This model supports sustainable knowledge sharing, consistent care practices and improved patient outcomes.
The session will highlight how this initiative can strengthen participants’ leadership skills and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. It also addresses training in the midst of system-wide challenges like staff turnover and competing priorities by offering flexible, accessible education. Participants will gain practical tools to lead change within their organizations and learn strategies to implement educational tools for change across local health-care system partners.
