Happy holidays from RNAO

As we close out 2024, we thank all RNs, NPs, RPNs and nursing students in Ontario, across Canada and beyond for the incredible work you have done all year round.

A very special THANK YOU to each and every one of our 54,400+ members for your continued advocacy and commitment to RNAO and our collective work and achievements. Indeed, we have done extraordinary work together throughout 2024, and we will approach 2025 – the association’s 100th year – with the same tenacity and dedication.

During the festive holiday season, we must remember this time of year can be difficult for some. This is especially true for those living in conflict zones, colleagues who have lost loved ones, and colleagues who are feeling discriminated against or under pressure. RNAO thanks all nurses working through the holidays to provide essential care and support to people across Ontario and elsewhere. We acknowledge your commitment and thank you for being there for those who need you.

The new year will bring with it more opportunities for transforming nursing, health and health care through collaboration with members, the public, politicians, the media, and our invaluable best practice partners at home and abroad. We will approach these opportunities with our strong moral compass and remain committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in all that we do. We will build on the important work we have already done together, and our collective efforts will lead to a more fair and just society for all.

Let the spirit of the season inspire you, the time with family and friends rejuvenate you, and the spirit of good cheer motivate you to continue to speak out for nursing and speak out for health.
