RNAO celebrates National National Nursing Students’ Week
RNAO wishes nursing students a happy National Nursing Students’ Week (Nov. 18-24, 2024).
We thank you for choosing nursing as a profession. You’re preparing for a dynamic career that offers unlimited possibilities for personal development and growth and the opportunity to play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of Ontarians.
Deep gratitude to each of the 7,300+ nursing students who are members of RNAO. Your strong voice keeps student aspirations, challenges and solutions at the forefront.
We also want to applaud NSO – Nursing Students of Ontario – RNAO’s student interest group for its strong advocacy and talented leadership. Together we foster opportunities for student growth and involvement. NSO hosts several events each year dedicated to topics and issues relevant to nursing students and the profession.
Membership in RNAO opens many doors for nursing students. Three times a year – winter, spring and fall – nursing students can attend board of directors’ (BOD) meetings. The goal of the placement is to expose nursing students to RNAO’s governance, strategic directions, operations, key initiatives on matters that impact nursing, health and health care. Each placement includes an RNAO orientation meeting, attendance at a BOD meeting, and other RNAO-related events. For more information, visit: Undergraduate nursing students' benefits.
