THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) advocates to the ministry of health and provincial government implement mandatory, evidence-based nurse-to-patient ratios for both hospital and community settings to ensure nurse safety and improved patient outcomes.
