About this event

This webinar will introduce health-care organizations and internationally educated nurses (IENs) to the IEN Transition to Practice Placement Program. Employers will learn how they can participate as placement sites, while IENs will gain valuable information about the program, supervised practice placements, available supports and how the program can help them successfully transition into Ontario’s health-care system and workforce.

During the webinar participants will learn about:

  • how placements are structured
  • supports available for employers and IEN participants
  • benefits of participating in the program
  • how placement opportunities support workforce development, recruitment, retention and successful integration of IENs into practice

The webinar will also provide an opportunity for employers and IENs to ask questions, learn more about the program, and explore how collaborative placement experiences can create supportive and inclusive practice environments.
