Objectives: Participants will: 

  • identify opportunities to align diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) initiatives with health system priorities 
  • gain direct insights from DFU best practice guideline (BPG) panel members who lead the guideline development 
  • discuss approaches to monitoring and evaluating DFU care using Nursing Quality Indicators for Reporting and Evaluation® (NQuIRE)® 
  • deepen understanding of emerging trends, insights and gaps in DFU care and learn about real-world experiences of Best Practice Spotlight Organizations® (BPSO®)  working with the previous edition DFU BPG
