About this event

The SNIG-RN Prescribing Community of Practice (CoP) invites registered nurse (RN) prescribers and other interested RNs to join its monthly case-based learning sessions.

These informal, interactive sessions are built around real, anonymized clinical cases submitted by members of the Community of Practice. Rather than following a traditional lecture or webinar, participants are invited to explore clinical reasoning, assessment, decision-making, implementation challenges and RN prescribing considerations from a variety of practice settings.

The goal is to create a supportive environment where nurses can learn from one another, ask questions, exchange ideas and gain practical insights from colleagues across Ontario.

There are no right or wrong answers, and participation is entirely voluntary. Whether you would like to contribute to the discussion or simply listen and learn, you are welcome to join.

The CoP also welcomes member-submitted cases that encourage discussion and shared learning across different practice settings.

Who should attend?

  • RN prescribers
  • Registered nurses and nurse practitioners interested in supporting RN prescribing
  • Nurses currently completing an RN prescribing education program
  • RNAO members interested in learning more about RN prescribing

Format: Interactive discussion (not recorded)
