Model WHO Student Conference at Humber River Health

To our Nursing Students, 

The Nursing Students of Ontario (NSO) alongside RNAO's Region 6 - Toronto West are thrilled to be facilitating a Model WHO Student Conference hosted by Humber River Health (1235 Wilson Avenue) on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. in Toronto. This will be a hybrid full day event that will give an opportunity to nursing students to represent a country of their choice, discuss and debate current local to global health issues, network, and practice their leadership skills. Attendees will also collaborate in discussing, writing, and presenting a resolution; allowing for real world applications of their skills. 

Different to prior years, we will have a virtual option available to improve event accessibility for students. An NSO team member will facilitate the virtual component to ensure inclusivity. 

Below is a brief timetable of what to expect at the event: 

• 8:15 a.m. - Doors open and breakfast
• 9 a.m. - Event begins
• 12–1 p.m. - Lunch
• 1–5 p.m. - Resolution discussion, writing, and presentations
