How do I become a BPSO?

Request for proposals

RNAO has released the request for proposals (RFP) for the next cohort of Best Practice Spotlight Organizations® (BPSO®) in Ontario. We invite interested and eligible health service and academic entities located in Ontario to work in collaboration with RNAO – and with the support of a cohort of other pre-designate organizations – to implement and evaluate multiple best practice guidelines. 

Successful applicants will enter into a formal three-year agreement with RNAO from 2024–2027, with a view to attaining designation as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (BPSO®).


Do you plan to apply?

Please submit a brief letter of intent to the attention of Susan McNeill, associate director by emailing Andrea Stubbs, project lead, at Once we receive your letter of intent, we can review it and share with you the link to our application portal.

Your letter of intent should include:

  • name of the organization and key contact person
  • indication that the requirements of the RFP are understood
  • description of organizational support
