Recap of fall board of directors’ and assembly meetings
In November, RNAO hosted its fall board of directors’ (BOD) and assembly of leaders’ meetings in Toronto. On the agenda for the BOD meeting (Nov. 13 – 15) were the president’s and CEO’s reports, RNAO’s policy platform in preparation for the federal election, and checking the pulse with all BOD members, as well as updates from RNAO regarding upcoming reports, a session on the impact of social media, website developments and its equity, diversity and inclusion collaborative corners at home office. This was the first meeting with new BOD member Dr. Ed Connors, RNAO’s public representative and Knowledge Keeper. See RNAO’s post on X (formerly Twitter) for photos.
The assembly of leaders meeting (Nov. 16) brought together chapter and interest group chairs, and membership executive network officers from across Ontario. The members heard the president’s and CEO’s reports, and they also engaged in a members’ voices as well as sessions about membership culture, RNAO’s collaborative corners and more. RNAO members Andrea Kellar, Una Ferguson and Paula Manuel led an informative presentation on members leading change. See RNAO’s post on X for a glimpse of the day.
