Queen’s Park on the Road 2022 begins Nov. 7

Another Queen's Park on the Road (QPOR) is set to kickoff on Nov. 7, 2022 at the start of the Ontario legislature’s constituency week – when MPPs return to their ridings to hold meetings with voters and others in their communities. QPOR is one of RNAO’s signature policy events, in which members meet with MPPs to discuss key nursing, health and health-care delivery issues. Nurses engage their elected representatives and bring their experiences and expertise to the table to influence healthy public policy changes.  

This year, RNAO members will urge MPPs to address the following two issues:

1. RN understaffing crisis
2. Ontario’s escalating overdose crisis

This year’s meetings will be held in-person, with the option to also hold virtual meetings.
