Palliative Care Facilitated Access program: Application to RNAO by Jan. 24, 2023

The Palliative Care Facilitated Access (PCFA) program allows eligible NPs to independently prescribe high-strength, long-acting opioids for those receiving palliative care services. If you were approved for initial entry in any month of 2022, you will still need to renew in February 2023 – RNAO is happy to process your application.

Renewal applications are due in February 2023. Please submit your application to RNAO by Jan. 24, 2023 to allow time for processing. You can view the eligibility criteria for renewal and submit your renewal at myRNAO.ca/PCFA-renewal.

If you’re applying for the first time, view the initial eligibility requirements and register at any time by visiting myRNAO.ca/PCFA  Please note, you must also renew by February.
