Strategies to Support Learning and Change within the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) to consider changes to the bylaws in order to create one additional seat on the Board of Directors being an Elder/Knowledge keeper of First Nations, Métis, or Inuit background. This seat would function to guide the board and strive towards reconciliation with the work that the RNAO is doing internally. In doing this they would assist the RNAO into being leaders of change against organizational and systemic racism.
