About this event:

The International Council of Nurses (ICN) and the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) will co-host the 29th ICN Congress July 1-5, 2023 in Montreal, Canada with the theme: Nurses together: a force for global health. The 2023 Congress will be held in the Montreal Palais des Congrès. To register for the congress, please see their website. Please see below for a list of all RNAO sessions at the ICN.

The Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) is hosting a Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (BPSO®) Special Session following ICN on July 6, 2023 at the InterContinental Montreal, connected to the Montreal Convention Centre.

RNAO invites you to a special session on RNAO’s BPSO designation program on July 6, 2023, the day after the congress:

Location: InterContinental Montreal, 360 rue Saint-Antoine Ouest in Montreal, Que. (direct access to the Montreal Convention Centre)

Speaker: Dr. Doris Grinspun, RNAO CEO and founder of the BPG Program and the BPSO social movement

Schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. ET: General information session – This session will highlight the key elements of RNAO’s rigorous BPG Program and the strategies used through the BPSO designation to support knowledge translation and foster uptake and sustainability of RNAO BPGs. BPSOs from around the world will be sharing their BPSO experience and will be available to answer your questions. Breakfast will be provided.  
  • 12 – 4 p.m. ET: BPSO representatives will meet in the afternoon to discuss the ongoing evolution of the program. The afternoon session is for BPSOs only.
