About this event:

The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario Long-Term Care Best Practices Program and the Mental Health Substance Use program have partnered to present this interactive and free Community of Practice and Educational Workshop Series for Long-term Care teams looking to create a healthier work environment.

This virtual offering will be a series of four ninety minutes facilitated workshops with additional opportunity for coaching by members of RNAO's LTC best practices team. This coaching will be provided during scheduled office hours outside of the workshop sessions. Don't miss out on this powerful opportunity to show support for long-term care staff.

During this webinar, participants will: 

  • revisit aspects of nursing professionalism, hear about psychological health and safety issues affecting nurses post pandemic, look at addressing incivility in the workplace and be provided with tips to support better nursing documentation
  • gain a better understanding of the RNAO best practice guidelines recommendations that foster a healthy work environment 
  • identify key resources available to support team dealing with the challenges of an unhealthy workplace
