About this event:
Join us on Friday, May 10, for a preview of the plans for the inaugural student-led Academic Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (BPSO®) conference.
This will feature participation from students across 10 BPSO countries: Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, and Spain.
The conference is designed by and for students, aiming to deepen their understanding of delivering safe, competent, and evidence-based care, guided by RNAO best practice guidelines (BPG).
During the webinar, members of the student planning committee will present four central topics for the conference and will seek input from global student attendees. The topics to be discussed include:
- leadership roles for students within academic settings and professional practice
- understanding and application of BPGs
- the principles of patient-centered care
- cultural safety in a global context
The session will include several interactive elements, such as breakout rooms for brainstorming and a Q & A segment. These activities will provide the planning committee with valuable, candid feedback from nursing students to ensure the international BPSO student conference effectively meets their educational needs.
