About this event:
The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA), a Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (BPSO®), is a partnership between two community hospitals. Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH) is funded for 54 beds and Four Counties Health Services (FCHS) is funded for 12 beds. Recruiting champions and sustaining MHA's BPSO work has been challenging in the current health-care environment as health human resources have been strained post pandemic.
The BPSO team developed their “Energizer Workshop” to help support and sustain the work of MHA's RNAO Best Practice Champions. The in-person workshop provided opportunities for large group discussion and small working group activities to build upon the work of the current BPGs, where champions had the chance to collaborate with each other and determine opportunities for growth for MHA's BPSO program.
Participants explored:
- health literacy and its influence on integration of best practice(s)
- the intersection of personality types and collaboration with teamwork
- implementation of BPGs with a senior-friendly lens
In this webinar participants can learn about:
- strategies used to engage Champions in BPG work
- plans for sustaining Champion engagement with RNAO BPGs
