Harm Reduction and Mental Health Nursing- Virtual Support Drop-In

About this event

This virtual gathering is intended to be a low-barrier drop-in session for nurses impacted by changes to Ontario's supervised consumption services, including the closure of many SCS sites. Nine provincially funded sites across Ottawa, Guelph, Hamilton, Thunder Bay, Kitchener, and Toronto will be closed by April 2025.

Nurses directly or indirectly impacted are invited to come together for a community building event to share resources, discuss how their region and organization are navigating the loss of these services, and have space to share their experiences related to harm reduction

If you cannot make it, or don't feel comfortable engaging in a drop-in session, resources will also be shared via the RNAO MHNIG website.

This event is hosted by the RNAO Mental Health Nursing Interest Group, in partnership with the Community Health Nursing Initiative Group, and the Harm Reduction Nurses Association.
