About this event:

This webinar is designed for health professionals or champions who want to learn more about sustaining best practices within their organization from Humber River Hospital (HRH). During this webinar, HRH will be sharing its experience implementing RNAO's best practice guidelines (BPGs). HRH began its BPSO designation journey in 2018 and has continued with its BPSO work amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. During this webinar, participants can learn more about HRH’s strategies on implementing BPGs and building sustainability within their organization. The goal of the webinar is to provide participants with the knowledge on implementing and sustaining BPGs within their organization.

Organizational readiness indicates the relationship between people, processes, systems and performance measurement. It is important to understand an organization’s readiness to synchronize and coordinate successful implementation of evidence-based practice. In this webinar, HRH’s BPSO clinical lead will discuss their experience determining organizational readiness, identifying organizational gaps, implementing BPGs and sustaining an evidence-based culture.

During this presentation, participants will learn:

  • identifying gaps within the organization prior to BPG implementation
  • using BPG implementation strategies
  • designing a sustainable process for implementing BPGs
  • managing, monitoring and evaluating currently implemented BPGs
