Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale: Its value for organizational psychology research. (Tremblay et al., 2009) An 18-item scale (‘Why do you do your work?’) that measures intrinsic and extrinsic motivation levels in the workplace. The scale is grounded in self-determination theory (Deci & Ryan, 2000) that includes the principles of autonomy, mastery and creating connections.
