Meghan Balogh has worked in journalism for more than two decades, beginning as a small-town reporter in rural communities and for the past seven as a full-time journalist and photographer at The Kingston Whig-Standard. She covers Kingston's thriving and innovative health beat, social issues, agriculture and breaking news, with a special interest in examining current issues in a hyper-local, multi-faceted approach that gets to the complex human heart of a story. Her work has been recognized by the National Newspaper Awards and the Ontario Newspaper Awards.
