About this event:
This webinar will help participants learn how the Champions of Change Open House event, held at William Osler Health System (Osler), served as a dynamic platform to unite health-care champions and showcase RNAO initiatives at Osler. The event welcomed hundreds of staff, patients, families and visitors to explore 12 interactive booths featuring resources on:
- How to becoming a Champion
- Advanced Clinical Practice Fellowship (ACPF)
- Best Practice Guidelines (BPGs): Person-Centered Care, Pressure Injury Management, Falls Prevention, Person and Family-Centred Care and Transitions in Care.
Designed to inspire collaboration and innovation, the event brought together health-care professionals, students and the broader community to celebrate leadership and promote inclusive, person-centered practices. By showcasing real-world solutions and success stories, the open house event encouraged a shift from traditional care models to approaches that are holistic, culturally sensitive and responsive to diverse patient needs. This knowledge exchange fosters a resilient workforce capable of delivering high-quality care in a rapidly evolving health-care landscape. Beyond professional development, the event supported career growth through ACPF, offering networking, mentorship, and insights into emerging roles.
In this webinar participants can learn how the event was a catalyst for progress — empowering those on the frontlines to deliver better outcomes for all. Champions of Change benefits both patients and staff.
