The purpose of this guideline is to provide evidence-based individual, organization, education, and system/policy recommendations to: 1) enhance the capacity of all individuals involved in the implementation of an eHealth solution within a health care organization; 2) establish suitable infrastructures to support eHealth education needs; and, 3) facilitate technology-enabled health system transformation.

Specifically, the objectives of this guideline are to enhance the capacity of:

Breastfeeding - Promoting and Supporting the Initiation, Exclusivity, and Continuation of Breastfeeding in Newborns, Infants and Young Children is a best practice guideline (BPG) that supports breastfeeding initiation, exclusivity for newborns and infants to six months, and continuation for infants and young children to two years, or longer, in addition to complementary feeding.

Recommendations are focused on any youth, adult or older adult either already on MMT or those who are potential candidates for MMT. Particular attention is paid to priority populations (for whom there are particular physiological implications of MMT).

A Palliative Approach to Care in the Last 12 Months of Life is a best practice guideline (BPG) which provides evidence-based recommendations to nurses and the interprofessional health team who support adults (18 years and older) experiencing the last 12 months of a progressive life-limiting illness, their families and their caregivers.
