Ontarians head to the polls on June 2 – a critical time in the province’s future. RNAO has outlined nurses’ asks for the next government in its provincial election platform, Ontario's nursing crisis: Your health, your health system. 

Cast your vote on RNAO matters: One member, one vote: Governance items for voting 
As an RNAO member, you play an important role in deciding governance issues that affect the current and future direction of your professional association. One member, one vote is how you can make your voice heard. All regular members, except for undergraduate students, are eligible to vote. 

This year, members are asked to cast their vote on two items:

1. approval of KPMG as RNAO’s auditors for fiscal year end Oct. 31, 2022
2. 2022 candidates listed on the ticket of nominations for board of directors:

• region 4 representative
• region 8 representative
• representative of the interest group chairs

Voting opened on May 24 and closes on June 9 at 12 p.m. ET. Results will be announced during day two of the Annual General Meeting on June 10, 2022.
