Rodolfo D. Lastimosa Jr. is the associate director of care at Sienna Senior Living in Toronto. He is the Central Toronto council chair/president at the College of Nurses of Ontario. The RN’s passion for nursing stems from his desire to make a difference in people's lives by providing compassionate care to those in need.
Rodolfo says that being nominated for this award is a great honour. He feels grateful and humbled to be recognized for his contributions to the nursing profession. Winning this award is emotional, he says, as it validates his hard work and dedication. It serves as a reminder of the impact he has made. And it motivates him to continue striving for excellence.
Rodolfo, who also won the Joan Lesmond IEN (internationally educated nurse) of the Year Award in 2021, says he wants to advance his career in nursing administration by assuming more prominent leadership roles.
