Middlesex-Elgin Chapter and the Rainbow Nursing Interest Group invite you to join us virtually as we explore the experience of transgender people in our healthcare system.The objectives of this webinar includes the following: 

  • To help nurses better understand the transgender community 
  • To identify the hurdles they might face in health care
  • To highlight helpful strategies/steps on working with members of this community
  • To discuss things that individuals can do on a micro, meso and macro level that can improve the experience in healthcare settings
