Heather Butts is the Weekend Anchor for CTV National News, hosting the network’s early and late evening newscasts. She has been part of the CTV News team since 2014, serving in multiple roles at stations across Canada. Throughout her career, Heather has covered a wide range of stories including a mass stabbing on the James Smith Cree Nation in Saskatchewan, the state funeral for former prime minister Brian Mulroney, and the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. In addition to regular news events, Heather has produced several stories highlighting the plight of families dealing with autism.
