Members at assembly meeting 2026

Assembly 2026 brought RNAO leaders together for strategic dialogue, policy development and collective action planning.

President NP Lhamo Dolkar opened the meeting by challenging participants to think boldly about how to elevate nursing. CEO Doris Grinspun reinforced RNAO’s mission and values, highlighting how nurses are driving change across the health system.

Members attended presentations by RNAO’s nursing & health policy and communications teams on advancing political action, strengthening public engagement and amplifying nursing voices through media and digital platforms. Breakout sessions focused on shaping RNAO’s 2026 action plan and identifying concrete advocacy priorities.

The members’ voices session highlighted how nurses mobilize change across regions, chapters and interest groups.

The assembly closed with a renewed commitment to advocacy, implementation and sustained member engagement.

The weekend ended with the board of directors meeting and a heartfelt surprise: the kickoff celebration of Doris Grinspun’s 30 years as RNAO’s CEO, surrounded by members whose leadership, passion and advocacy have shaped the organization.
