Taking action to manage conflict in the workplace
Friendly Manor took a proactive approach to managing workplace conflict by engaging managers and staff in education, reflection and evidence-based strategies.
Through a gap analysis, they identified recurring conflicts, implemented a tracking template, and created regular inter-professional meetings to share data and solutions. Educational sessions on bullying and conflict resolution fostered self-awareness and positive behaviour change
These initiatives strengthened communication, collaboration and team unity among managers, supporting a healthier work environment and ultimately improving resident care.
