Boosting pay scales for palliative & hospice nurses
Addressing pay inequity between palliative care community and hospice nurses and hospital-based nurses
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) advocate for policy changes and funding adjustments to address inequity in pay and benefits between community and hospice nurses and hospital-based nurses, ensuring upwards harmonization of compensation for equal work and the sustainability of high-quality palliative care services across all care settings.
