About this event
The Complementary Therapies Nurses’ Interest Group invites you to join us!
With gratitude for the care you offer others, today is an invitation to receive that same care. Please allow us to take care of you for the day! The CTNIG Wellness Day Experience has been created to gently shift that rhythm. Held within the natural beauty of the Toronto Botanical Gardens, this day invites you into an atmosphere of calm, connection, and intentional care as we celebrate our connection with nature.
Please join us for a day where your presence matters, your well-being is centred, and your experience is held with intention. You are invited to soften, to be present, and to receive.
The day unfolds through guided forest bathing (our guide is a former RN!) and artistic expression, paired with a shared meal and opportunities for meaningful conversation. Following arrival and welcome, participants move into small groups to experience guided forest bathing or artistic expression, then come together for a shared lunch and informal reflection. In the afternoon, groups rotate to experience the second activity, with the day closing in a circle for reflection, appreciation, and a grounding meditation. Each element is designed to support your well-being while creating space to connect with others who understand the depth and complexity of your work.
You will leave with hearts and hands full, your mind renewed, and a connection that continues beyond the day itself. Please let us take care of you for the day and enjoy an experience that honours you, your work, and your well-being.
Please note, this event is FREE for CTNIG members! Participants hold their place with the $25 registration fee. When CTNIG members arrive on-site and check in, they will receive their $25 registration fee back in cash. Not a member yet? Our membership fee is $25 for the year. Please consider joining CTNIG through your RNAO portal before registering to attend this event for free and enjoy all the benefits of CTNIG membership! We’d love to have you as a member of our community! We welcome all other RNAO members to attend for a $25 fee. Please note that registrants who book but don’t attend will not receive a refund of their registration fee. We look forward to seeing you there!
