TOP 5 THINGS TO KNOW THIS MONTH
URGENT: Last call to answer the survey on nurses’ wellbeing – for ALL RNs, NPs, RPNs, LPNs and nursing students anywhere in Canada
Time is running out and we must hear from you by end of this week, Saturday, July 31.
Be part of this international COVID-19 nursing workforce survey and help us gain a better understanding of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Canada’s nursing workforce and how it compares to other countries in the world. What’s the same? What’s unique? What’s the path forward?
RNAO’s letter to Premier Ford calling for mandatory vaccination for health-care workers
RNAO has led the advocacy for mandatory COVID-19 vaccination for all health-care workers in Ontario.
On July 20, 2022, RNAO continued to pave the way forward with an open letter to Premier Ford calling for the COVID-19 vaccination to be mandated for all Ontario health-care workers. Ontarians requiring health services must not be burdened with the fear of contracting COVID-19 from their health-care providers.
Are you #FullyVaccinated?
Ontarians have faced some of the toughest obstacles of this pandemic and RNAO has remained determined to alleviating some challenges through its policy work.
This month, RNAO launched its #FullyVaccinated social media campaign to encourage everyone to receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
RNAO asks once again: Are we preparing for a safe school reopening?
We are less than seven weeks from the start of classes and the Ontario government has not unveiled the provincial plan for the safe and timely reopening of schools in September. With this reopening, schools will house the largest population of unvaccinated people in congregate places.
