Session Objectives
- Explain the health consequences of tobacco use, and nicotine tolerance, dependence and addiction
- Identify types of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products and pharmacological options
- Describe the RNAO BPG development process and learn more about the Tobacco Intervention (TI) Initiative
- Identify key recommendations from the RNAO Tobacco Intervention BPG
- Identify the role of a best practice champion as a leader in knowledge exchange and transfer
- Discuss use of the Toolkit: Implementation of Best Practice Guidelines when integrating tobacco intervention best practices into organizational settings
