This session will focus on practice, education and system, organization and policy recommendations from the new Registered Nurses’ Association guideline: Person- and Family-Centred Care.
This new guideline (formerly known as Client Centred Care BPG) will assist nurses and other health-care providers to practice in person-and family-centred ways.
Session Objectives
During this course, participants will learn about:
- Current practice, education and organization practices that support person- and family-centred care
- Gain insight into the key concepts and components associated with person- and family-centred care
- How to use this guideline in practice and within their organization to promote practices that enhance person- and family-centred care
