This hour-long webinar is intended for eHealth Champions, and other health professionals working with EHRs.

Webinar Outline:
The session will provide an overview of how one long-term care company implemented a computerized health record including electronic medication records, treatment records, assessments and point of care documentation. The application supports an interdisciplinary approach to resident assessment, care planning and evaluation of care.

Session Objectives:
During this session, participants will:

  • learn how site acquisitions were integrated into the software;
  • understand how the different provincial care regulations have been accommodated for;
  • hear about key lessons learned and tips for consideration when moving to electronic documentation.
