Speaking Out on Poverty Update: September 11, 2008

Upcoming Event: Poverty and Healthcare Debate, September 18
All members, especially nursing students, and the public are warmly invited to attend a special Poverty and Health Care Town Hall meeting on Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 pm.  Nurses know that poverty, income security, and health are all intimately related. This free event will be a lively discussion on the growing income and health gap, the privatization of health and what we can do about it.

As a member of the 25 in 5 Network for Poverty Reduction, RNAO calls on the Premier, all MPPs, and all MPs to put poverty reduction at the top of the fall agenda.
