Let’s make pharmacare happen!

On February 24th, MPs will vote on pharmacare. Tell the prime minister that you expect our federal government to fully support Bill C-213 and establish national pharmacare.

Canadians spend more on prescription drugs than any other country except the United States and Switzerland. That leaves:

•    1 in 5 Canadians struggling to pay for their prescription medications
•    3 million Canadians unable to fill their prescriptions
•    1 million Canadians choosing  medicine over food and heat

The Advisory Council on the Implementation of National Pharmacare declared this to be “unacceptable.” RNAO agrees.

National pharmacare would be a win-win-win. All Canadians would be guaranteed access to medically necessary drugs. Government would save billions of dollars. And, Canadian employers would avoid drug benefit costs.

Join us! Tell Prime Minister Trudeau that it’s time for pharmacare!

Copies will be sent to the following:

•    Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Health
•    Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Finance
