The Nurses’ Health Program is here for you

Did you know, in any given year, one in five Canadians experiences a mental illness or addiction problem? Nurses in Ontario who are struggling with substance use and/or mental illness are not alone.

The Nurses’ Health Program (NHP) is a voluntary program for nurses registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) who are seeking treatment for substance use and/or mental health disorders, which may be affecting their ability to practise nursing safely. RNAO, alongside CNO, Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) and Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (WeRPN), is a supporting organization of the NHP.
