RNAO would like to thank all members and MPPs who took part in this year’s Queen’s Park on the Road (QPOR).

Thanks to your participation, RNAO was able to schedule 54 meetings with MPPs across Ontario to discuss opportunities to enhance health-care delivery.

Apply for the Palliative Care Facilitated Access program in February

NPs with expertise in palliative care can apply on Feb. 1, 2020 for the Palliative Care Facilitated Access (PCFA) program.

The program allows eligible NPs to independently prescribe high-strength, long-acting opioids to those receiving palliative care.

RNAO is now accepting proposals for the Advanced Clinical Practice Fellowship (ACPF) program. The fellowship provides RNs and NPs with the opportunity to develop clinical, leadership or best practice guideline implementation knowledge and skills with support from a mentor, the organization where the RN/NP is employed, and RNAO.
