The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) Research Committee is pleased to invite you to an educational session on writing successful research grants.

This session will be offered by webcast.

Join us to learn ways on how to improve writing a successful research grant for different research problems. Please bring your research questions to ask your presenter at the end of the session.

Presenter: Dr. Souraya Sidani, PhD, Professor and CIHR Canada Chair, Intervention Research.

Dr. Sidani is a Professor and Canada Research Chair (funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research) at Ryerson University. She is an ardent researcher, author and teacher and has been successful in obtaining numerous research grants from a variety of agencies. She has published over 130 research articles and has written three textbooks. She has also supervised numerous successful PhD candidates.

  3. Discuss elements of a successful grant
  4. Review the structure of a research proposal
