This webinar is intended for long-term care leaders and direct care staff to access and use the resources/tools in the pain assessment and management toolkit topic in the LTC Toolkit, 2nd edition.

This session will focus on assisting LTC staff on building general core competencies for effective assessment and management of pain. The resources and tools included in the toolkit topic provide access to evidence-based strategies for assessing, managing and preventing pain.

Session Objectives
During this course, participants will learn how to:

  • Navigate through the LTC Toolkit to access the pain assessment and management topic
  • Use resources/tools in integrating evidence-based strategies for enhancing the health care experience
  • Use the evidence-based resources/tools to support program planning, implementation and evaluation
