On Nov. 23, 2020, RNAO is holding its seventh invitational Nurse Practitioner Knowledge Exchange Symposium, titled "Moving from Strength to Greater Strength: NPs in Ontario, Canada, and around the Globe." This annual event offers RNAO NPs a unique opportunity to dialogue on matters important to their critical role in Ontario’s health system.
The NP Knowledge Exchange Symposium objectives are to:
- gain knowledge about the Nurse Practitioner Task Force: Vision for Tomorrow, its compelling history, dynamic progress and promise to drive successful health transformation;
- share and discuss how the clinical, policy and governance roles of NPs during COVID-19 impacted the system and can be leveraged in the vision for tomorrow;
- identify opportunities and strategies to enable and advance full NP supply, utilization, and scope expansion within Ontario’s health system;
- gain new insights on global and local policies impacting health transformation and the role of the Nurse Practitioner; and
- contribute to development of a vibrant public education campaign regarding the role and capacity of NPs.
The symposium will be from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. virtually via Zoom, and as RNAO NP member, we would be delighted if you could join us in this lively and ground-breaking event!
